Press Coverage
Show what the media said about you. It works as a classic logo strip, as a row of pull-quote citations, or as both.

Storefront preview
Layout decides what is displayed, not just how it is arranged — clear the quote and the source in Quotes only and that mention drops out of the row entirely. On the storefront, a row with nothing left in it renders nothing at all rather than a heading over an empty space. The demo mastheads are fictional publications.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Color scheme | Picks which set of colors to use for this section |
| Subheading | A small line above the heading (e.g. "Press") |
| Heading | The title of the section. Starts as "As seen in" |
| Layout | Logos only, Logos with quotes, or Quotes only. This decides what is displayed, not just how it is arranged — see the table below |
Blocks
Each press mention is one block:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Image | The publication's logo. Only use marks you have written permission to reproduce — see the note below |
| Quote | A short line from the article about you |
| Source | The publication name. In the quote layouts this is the citation under the hairline, and it is also the logo's alt text if you add a logo |
| Link | A link to the original article. Appears once you have added a logo or a source. Opens in a new tab |
You can add as many press mentions as you need.
What each layout shows
The Layout setting controls which fields are displayed, so a field you have filled in can be deliberately hidden by the layout you chose.
| Layout | Image | Quote | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logos only | shown | — | — |
| Logos with quotes | shown | shown | shown |
| Quotes only | — | shown | shown |
Nothing you type is lost when you switch — the fields keep their values, so you can move between layouts freely.
Where the link goes. If the layout shows a logo, the logo is the link. If it does not (Quotes only), the publication name becomes the link instead, so a citation row is still clickable.
Which layout should I use?
Quotes only is the right default if you don't have written permission to reproduce a publication's logo. A masthead is a trademark, and "they wrote about us" is not the same as "we may use their mark." A quote with an attributed source is a citation — which is both safer and, frankly, more persuasive: the sentence is the proof, not the logo.
Logos only is the classic strip, and it's the right call when you do have permission and the names are recognisable enough to work on sight alone.
Logos with quotes gives you both, at the cost of a busier section.
Only publish coverage that exists
Write the quote the publication actually printed, and attribute it to the publication that printed it. Inventing a quote — or attributing a real one to the wrong outlet — is a claim made in someone else's name, and it is the fastest way to turn a credibility section into a legal problem. The same goes for logos: a mark you are not licensed to display implies an endorsement you do not have.
The demo store's four mentions (Folláine Quarterly, The Evidence Desk, Beacht Magazine, Margadh Weekly) are fictional publications, written as sample content. Replace them with your own before you launch.
When the section is empty
If you have not added any mentions — or the layout you picked has nothing to show, for example Logos only on mentions that carry quotes but no images — the section renders nothing at all on your storefront. It does not publish a heading over an empty space.
In the theme editor it stays visible, with a prompt telling you what to add, so you can always find it again.
Layout and behaviour
- The quote layouts are a grid: four columns on desktop, two on tablet, one on phones.
- Logos rest in greyscale and lift to full colour on hover — and on keyboard focus, so the mark you have tabbed to is the one you can see.
- Each logo link is at least 44 × 44 px, so a wide, short masthead is still comfortable to tap.
- The quote and its source both use your color scheme's text colour, at accessible contrast in every scheme. The accent colour appears as the short rule under the subheading, not as the colour of any words.
Tips
- Quote the sentence, not the paragraph. One line that says something specific beats three that only establish the publication exists.
- Even one or two mentions add credibility. You don't need a wall.
- Use greyscale logos if you use logos at all — a row of clashing brand colours pulls attention away from yours. The theme greys them for you.
Troubleshooting
The section has disappeared from my storefront. It renders nothing when it has nothing to render. Check that at least one block carries a field the current Layout displays — a Logos-only row needs at least one image, and a Quotes-only row needs at least one quote or source.
I filled in quotes but only logos show. Layout is set to Logos only. Switch to Logos with quotes or Quotes only.
The Link field isn't there. It appears once the block has an image or a source, because those are what the link is attached to.
My logo looks washed out. That is the resting state — greyscale and slightly dimmed so the row reads as one group. Hover or tab to it and it returns to full colour.
